Massive FPS Drop with Dual Monitors

Before connecting a second monitor I had around 200fps playing Overwatch. With a second monitor it will run fine for a few minutes after launching, then drop down to 30-60fps. How do I fix this?

Monitors:
1920x1080 144hz (Primary) Connected with DisplayPort
1024x1280 60hz (Secondary) Connected with DVI

CPU: i7-6700
GPU: GTX 1080
RAM: 16 GB

It's probably the resolution difference.
Get a full HD 2ndary monitor.
