Ok. So I have a Dell E207WFP. It can run 1680 x 1050 at 60hz native. On the contrary, it can run 800x600 at 75 hz. My question is: Can I safely overclock my Monitor to do 1680 x 1050 at 70-75 hz? For gaming, CS:GO. Or will it damage the monitor?
if it can run at 800x600 @ 75mhz it doesn't mean it can do so at higher resolution.
service manual for your monitor @ https://www.manualslib.com/manual/978726/Dell-E207wfp.html?page=4#manual
clearly states on page 4 : 1680 x 1050 at 60 Hz, going higher will cause the monitor to no longer display anything on it and possibly damage it.
