Windows 10 freezes and often will not wake up from sleep mode

Over the past few weeks I have been having issues with Windows freezing (and not accepting any input at all) and not waking up from sleep mode (I have to manually restart the computer).

These issues led to me reinstalling windows. Unfortunately, this did not solve the issue. At this point I am starting to think the problem must be hardware related. Any suggestions on what I could try in order to prove whether or not my hypothesis is correct?

Gigabyte 970A-DS3P R1.0
AMD FX-6300
Zotac GeForce GTX 1060
8GB 1600 MHz RAM (Cannot remember the brand name)
Sentey 725w PSU

Do you have a SSD or HDD? If you have an SSD, that is your issue. They tend not to sleep well. Just turn off the sleep settings and youll be fine

It could be the HDD failing. You could run the hard drive check disk tool and make sure. You could also go through these and see if you can solve your sleep problem.

Just purchased the HDD less than a month ago so I highly doubt that is the issue, thanks though.
