So my question is pretty clear I guess. I was thinking about buying maybe BenQ Zowie XL2730 since it is kinda future proof. Currently I have R9 290 and since the mentioned monitor is 1440p, my framerate even on lowest settings on FPS games (only) such as Rainbow Six Siege will be nowhere near 144 FPS, probably around 70+. Does it make any sense to buy that monitor even though I won't change my PC for probably 4 years? Or is it better to buy something like BenQ XL2411 which is "basic" 144hz 1080p monitor and maybe buy amazing FreeSync/Gsync monitor in like 4 years time when I completely change my PC? Second option sounds better to me but I want to hear what you guys think.
