Hello all,
I have a friend of mine with a custom built PC
i5 - 4460 3.20 GHz Processor
RX470 GPU
Ballistix 8 gigs of ram
MSI H81i MOBO

During the install we can get to where it's installing the operating system, but it stops at 43% with a blue screen saying Bad_Pool_Header. I've read that this could be a driver issue, but as this is a brand new SSD with no previous Windows install I'm not sure how that can be. My thinking is that Windows just can't get the required Drivers online?

We can get to Cmd prompt. But as there is no OS, I'm not sure I can boot it into safemode, (I have yet to try will attempt after this, but logic dictates that no OS no Safemode.)

This is a new thing for me, and all the walkthroughs I've seen here have been after the OS has been installed.

I Was thinking that too. I asked him just a minute ago if he had unseated it while installing his new SSD. He said he did unseat it. Unfortunately I can't test this theory until he gets back home. He just left. I'll let you know in about an hour if this was the case, if no other option comes up. :)
