Hi guys,

So I recently bought my first gaming PC and had it pre-built for me as i wasn't entirely confident in doing it myself. Its quite low end specs wise but it does well what i want it to do.

After about a week of use I started to notice some problems - on booting up it would black screen and say "bootmgr image is corrupt. System cannot boot" initially i thought nothing of it and would restart my computer and continue to use as normal with everything working fine. A few days later this developed into blue screen crashes at completely random times when browsing the web or playing games or even when idle. The main error codes being "memory management" "System service exception" and "critical process died"

Things I've tried to remedy the crashes

-Re-installed windows 10
- Updated my drivers
- Used DDU to do a clean install of my graphics card driver
- Run chkdsk /f /r /x
- Run windows diagnostics
- Run whocrashed to try analyze my error codes
- Run data lifeguard to test my hdd

The weird thing is i feel like what i did some what helped the crashes as i no longer get them when using chrome, surfing, or my computer being idle but whenever a somewhat strenuous task takes place for example when i try patch league of legends it always results in a bad pool header, fltmgr failure bsod.

Lastly something to note is that i can't seem to update windows either, it just constantly says checking for updates.

My computer is under warranty, however, if im able to fix the issue (assuming its not hardware related) that would save me a lot of time.

If anyone can please please help me with this issue i would be so grateful. Sorry if i sound like a noob i'm kinda new to this whole PC thing. I'v attached my minidump files above

Thanks!!!

  1. The download says its not commonly downloaded and may not be safe to open. And may contain a virus

  2. Are you talking about the mini-dump link? All i did was zip up 4 of my minidumps and uploaded them, i don't know why it would be saying that.

  3. Yup the dmp file. I have no idea either. Firefox says it when it has nearly downloaded (it stops it)

  4. Is there another way i could share the files with you?

  5. Get bluescreenview then post the pics somewhere. Of all the drivers in it

you got a bunch of bugchecks caused by bad memory addresses being passed to drivers. both from physical memory and from virtual memory.

you will want to start by updating your BIOS to reset/update your memory timings then run memtest to confirm your memory timings work as expected.

if everything is ok, then boot into windows remove any overclocking software and retest for failure.

you might consider going to the intel download site and updating your storage driver. http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html
