Monitor recommendation for £200 ($260) ? - Gaming/photoshop IPS?

Hi Guys,

Hi Guys

I'm looking for a new monitor and just seeing what people would recommend for this price range
£200 ($260). What I will be using it for ......

1. Gaming
2. Photoshop graphic design
3. Ideally would like some kind of blue light protection against eye fatigue

I have only started to look about, heard that IPS is the way to go, something about them having a more accurate color pallet over TN which helps on graphic design.

Anyhow please recommend away

ASUS VC239H meets your needs.

There's vendors selling new 21" & 24" screens with warranty at half price on ebay now. I don't know about 27" but probably.

Ok, like the idea of a 27 inch display . You both recommend Asus how about this Asus VC279H 27" a worthy contender ? Same price as the AOC

Careful. That's a 27” 1080p. For 27” you want 1440p. What about the IPS BenQ GW2765 2560x1440 flicker-free, low blue light, fps games, no ghosting in games?

I'm talking about vendors on ebay that you can check the ratings of, selling with a warranty.

1440p is definitely sweet spot for 27", but 1080p wont be an issue either. IPS is an added advanntage.

I just returned an Acer G247HYL, was making a horrible high frequency noise which drove me mad so after 1 hour of use from new I RMA it. Not sure if you get the high frequency noise with the ones you posted above.

Do not confuse yourself too much. There are ton of options out there but always check reviews and feedbacks before considering.

I've taken the plunge and gone for the VX24AH, interested to see what 1440p is like! - Came in at £208 delivered from E-buyer
