I had my windows 10 computer set up to reboot to my desktop with out entering my password. Something happened and now I must enter my password when I reboot.

I went to control panel and I went to users accounts. But I could not figure out how to make it boot with out entering my password. I never did log into Microsoft on boot. I always had my system boot to my own local machine password.

I have one account on my windows 10 computer and that is my admin account.

Can someone point me to the correct place for me to go in windows 10 so I can set this up?

Thanks in advance.

open a run dialog box by pressing the windows key + R on your keyboard and then enter the command "netplwiz" in the window that appears it will have and option you can tick to log into the account automatically but make sure you pick the right user account if there are multiple ones on your computer
