BenQ XL2730Z 144Hz 27 Inch Gaming Monitor

I am looking at purchasing this monitor for a friend. However, I am finding a hard time finding out if this is a G-Sync or a Free-Sync monitor. It does state that it has 144Hz refresh. Any information would be good.

It is a FreeSync monitor, which can only be used by AMD cards. G-sync monitors are usually much more expensive than their FreeSync counterparts.

You can use a freesync monitor with Nvidia if you want you just cant use freesync and the same thing goes for AMD and Gsync. You would still get 144hz, and that monitor is not freesync or Gsync.

Yeah, sorry, meant that the FreeSync feature can only be used by AMD cards, the monitor itself can be used by any card
