Hello,

I just built my first desktop (https://pcpartpicker.com/user/dwysoski/saved/) and have been experiencing numerous windows crashes. Most have been SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (3b)
and the occasional irql not less or equal error. I ran a memory dump analysis and came up with this, but I do not know what it means.

An exception happened while executing a system service routine.
Arguments:
Arg1: 00000000c000001d, Exception code that caused the bugcheck
Arg2: fffff800a78207af, Address of the instruction which caused the bugcheck
Arg3: ffff920171b65420, Address of the context record for the exception that caused the bugcheck
Arg4: 0000000000000000, zero.

So far so good. I mainly experience the issues while playing games and I just made it through a game without crashing, something that hasn't happened in days. Time to keep play testing. Thanks for that find! I really appreciate it!

Not that I am aware of, I do not know what motion joy is. I will look into Cfosspeed.

Uninstalled Cfosspeed. Worked for a few hours and I just had a blue screen with a memory management crash code.

56 errors after the first test of 4 passes. Probably safe to say that is whats going on then?

New ram installed and I've had two different windows crashes. One kmode exception and one critical process died. Will post dumps if I can get to to boot up again. Any suggestions?

Ran memtest overnight with the new sticks installed. Could not even complete the test, had over 200,000 errors before it finished pass 3 out of 4. So I take it this set is garbage. Does that mean the last set that only had 50 errors may not have been bad? Or is any number of errors in memtest automatically bad Ram? Going to call up the seller and try and get another set shipped out... Again.

What are the odds of both sticks having errors in memtest?

Does the number of errors in memtest mean anything? One stick had over 20,000 errors half way through the first pass and the second had 50 after 4 passes. Are they both bad? Is there anything that could cause errors in this that isn't the RAM?

Someone mentioned to me that maybe it's my motherboard? Could that be what is going on?
