Hi all,

I'm finally in the market for a new monitor.

Currently I've got an iiyama 27 inch which has a 2ms response rate and is 60hz although I've used cru to get 75 (certainly makes a visual difference)

Anyway, I've had enough of this one and I've been scanning my beady eyes over some others.

My requirements if possible is to have the following:

1ms or very close to.
1440p
34 inch upwards
120hz +

I don't care about 4K my main focus is a resolution which is higher than 1080p and a larger display than 27.

From what I've been reading it would seem my requirements contradict each other, so I can get 34 but not at 1ms or I can but the resolution will be lower.

Finding it hard to find specifically what I wanted, however I did find one which covered everything but it was £1600 so slightly out of budget.

Money wise I can go up to about £700

However it does need to be available on scan.co.UK as I'll be using finance.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be great.

Thanks

I've ended up going with the Acer predator Z35 , 35 inch, 4ms, 2560x1080, 144hz with (apparently) a 200hz mode.

Anyway I'm happy and it cost around £600 from scan.co.uk

It has 1 verified purchase and 1 person walking by screaming about something.

I apologize for my mistake. I missed the finance requirement.

What do you think about this one ??

It's 4ms but has g-sync not sure if this helps with response rate or not..

Any thoughts.??

Btw I have an EVGA 1080 sc

Anyone else have any thoughts?

I've seen a lot of monitors which tick every box but not the 1ms or even 3ms response rate.

Just in short my shortlist is this.

1440p
34 inch
120 - 144hz
1ms - 3ms

I have a 1080 so G-Sync I can use, but not a requirement.

I find it incredible that for £700 you can't find a monitor which ticks the above boxes, or does the 4ms response rate on a lot of the asus and acer models actually not make that much of a difference? Input lag for me is at an absolute minimum already, i'm lost now.
