I have a Samsung 55" 6290 TV that I'm using to play games on. However for some reason it is locking at 30hz at 4k even though its a 60hz tv. My system specs are as follows I7 6800k, 2 x FuryX, 16GB DDR4, Windows 10 and the latest Crimson Drivers. Any ideas what could be causing this or how to fix it?

Solution
What display inputs are available on the TV, and which are you using for the PC?

If you are using HDMI, that it the issue. The Fury X supports HDMI 1.4 and you need HDMI 2.0 or later for 4K @ 60 Hz.
The only option for 4K @ 60 Hz with this card is DisplayPort, which isn't much help if the TV doesn't have a DisplayPort input but if it does then all you need is a DisplayPort cable.

Ahh Newegg states that the FuryX is using hdmi 2.0, I guess they are wrong.

I was going from this article:
http://techreport.com/review/28513/amd-radeon-r9-fury-x-graphics-card-reviewed/2

The card has HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2, so HDMI is limited to 30 Hz.
Here is another article on it:
http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/amd-radeon-fury-x-doesnt-have-hdmi-2-support.html

From wikipedia, Radeon RX 400 series, GeForce 900 series and GeForce 10 series support HDMI 2.0.

Do you know if a displayport to hdmi cable can run 4k at 60fps?

If you can find an adapter that supports 4K @ 60 Hz over HDMI 2.0, then yes.
The graphics card will be using DisplayPort, so it can send 4K @ 60 Hz to the adapter and then this would be converted to HDMI 2.0 for the TV input.

Something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Plugable-DisplayPort-Supports-displays-3840x2160/dp/B00S0C7QO8/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1490433943&sr=8-4&keywords=displayport+to+%22hdmi+2%22+adapter

You would use this with your existing HDMI to HDMI cable providing it supports 4K @ 60 Hz (HDMI 2.0 or later standard).
