Hi guys I recently bought a second hand gpu, Nvidia Geforce Gt 630 2gb Palit Edition and it was tested on the previous owner's pc and it's working. But it's not working in mine. Any idea why it's blank and don't have any display?

Specs
Processor: Intel (R) Core (TM)2 Duo CPU E7500 @ 2.93GHz 2.94 GHz
Ram: 3.00 GB
System type: 64-bit Operating System
550 W
Motherboard:Asustek P5QPL-AM

I hope this problem will fix soon, I appreciate all your answers.

PS:I tried taking off the ram and putting it back on
Taking off the CMOS battery and putting it back on
Taking off the gpu and putting it back on

I guess that gpu is a low profile card and you have some kind of hp/fujitsu machine, you probably know how to insert it correctly into pci-e 16x slot, and it has no additional power pins? Go to nvidia and download & install drivers first, then restart plug your video cable in graphic card , now, what cable are you using? You know how to set up monitor to use different inputs?

I think it does not have additional power pins because it fits my vga correctly. I don't know what you mean by installing drivers (because I'm noob at this) but I think this is what you mean http://imgur.com/a/HX2DI ? I'm using a vga and I don't know how to set up monitor to use different inputs. Thank you for helping me.

Here is the link for drivers of your specific videocard http://www.palit.com/palit/vgapro.php?id=1893&lang=en&pn=NEAT6300HD41-1070F&tab=do
Download and install one (vga driver) for windows version you are using.
Does your gpu looks liek this one on a picture? http://www.palit.com/product/vga/picture/p01893/p01893_bigimage_362529dab656536c.jpg If so, it doesnt need aditional power pins to be inserted in it. Otherwise they look like this and are located on a graphic card, if you dont have those, you dont need it . http://www.ozone3d.net/public/jegx/201011/gtx480_power_connectors.jpg Your monitor is probably fine because i guess you were using same vga cable before, so it is already set up to receive input from vga port.

So I need to install the drivers first before putting it back in? And yes that's what my gpu looks like.http://www.palit.com/product/vga/picture/p01893/p01893_bigimage_362529dab656536c.jpg

Do I also need to download the manual and tool below? http://imgur.com/a/I2Fea
Thank you so much for answering!

You could try uninstalling any existing nvidia graphic drivers that you have right one, than install those new ones, than restart and try if your graphic card works (with your VGA cable inserted in graphic card) No need for manual & tool.

Well, I'll just refund it and buy a brand new instead. Maybe the gpu has problems or defect because it's a second hand. Anyways, thank you for answering/helping me sir!
