when i reinstall windows how is it that it'salready activated

when i instalk windopws i select skip activation/ i have no key because i bought the key on bonnaza and rather then typing it in i sel;ect that option then when pc boots up i copy and paste the key from my email purchase. however windows 10 seems to be activated with a key inputed anyway before i do this and after i copy the key i bought into the system iits activated but the key does not match the key i put into the system.

i downloaded the usb creation tool and iso through microsofts website i wortry im not getting the right updates cause even though it says activated the key doesnt match.

why is this? is there a better way to view the key installed besides right clicking my computer and selecting properties?

If you upgraded from Win7 to 10 previously it would have activated it. If you do a clean install of win10, it'll activate it.

Once you've installed windows and get online

It's saved on the ms server what hardware the key was installed to.
