Hi all, Was running Vista on a HDD wincluded some old software (didn't have install disks) I didn't want to lose as well as stuff I could transfer. So I thought I'd get a SSD to install Windows 7, shrink the Vista partition and put data on a partition on the rest of the old HDD.
I fitted SSD and installed Win 7 from a bootable disk OK having disconnected the HDD. But when I reconnected the HDD (with Vista on C: still) it keeps booting to the boot screen asking for the choice of OS, but if I select Windows it tells me to repair with an installation disk (which I don't have) and coming up with
Status: 0xc000000e
I've tried using EasyBCD on the HDD and selecting the 'ignore digital signature' option to no effect.

It does this irrespective of which function key I press and whether or not the ssd is connected.
I tried to install
