No signal on monitor via HDMI

So I built my own pc and my specs are:
Asus ROG strix 1070 GPU
Asus ROG strix z270e mobo
7th gen i7 7700k CPU
And my monitor is an asus vg278hv. I am using an HDMI cord plugged in to my gpu and screen. I can assure you everything is plugged in correctly in my pc, and I have tried all my HDMI ports on my gpu and motherboard. My monitor still gives me the "no signal" issue. I have also tried multiple HDMI cords and the issue still stands.

Please help.
