Changing resolution of the monitor results in keyboard only input lag

i have a 4k monitor at 60hz , and my gpu is gtx1070, so i cannot game at 4k well, when i change the resolution to 2k or 1080p and issue of keyboard input lag starts, the solution for now that i have found out is to change the resolution exit game and log out and log back into windows and every works fine, but again if i change the resolution from 2k to 4k the problem starts...can someone please help me fix this issue

Im experiencing a similar problem, when i switch from 4k, my keyboard stops working all together.
Mind sharing your specs?

OMG this was it! I have dealt with this issue for month on end! Every time I changed resolutions it would input lag my typing. I tried everything. No clue why super f4 was the issue, and would have never guessed, but it worked! Killing it worked!

I have spent several years thinking this was something wrong with my motherboard, you are a lifesaver.
