Nvidia latest update - low fps

Hello so last week I was running CSGO fine with a minimum 120 FPS until I got an alert regarding a new Nvidia driver. I installed it and saw that after installation my csgo FPS went to 30-60 which is unplayable. I tried going back to my old driver but nothing worked. Turned vsync off etc nothing... tried DDU than an clean installation but nothing seems to work. If anyone could help would be very much appreciated.

Have you tried rolling back to an earlier Geforce driver? I have a Zotac Geforce GTX 970 and use an older driver(376.54) and it works great for me. Sometimes
"the latest ain't the greatist". I would go on your video cards site and check out the older ones from 2016 and try each one. It may take a while but if it helps... Good luck.
