PC wont work with TV but works with monitor

So i wanted to turn my pc into a home theater kind of thing.
it has been working fine whilst hooked up to a monitor but now when i plug into my 720p TV nothing!

But the strange thing is when i plug the monitor is at the same time the TV starts to work. When i then unplug the monitor the TV will work fine. but after a restart it will stop working.

I have just done a clean install of windows - didnt help
ive changed the resolution - didnt help.

Any ideas? thanks

Have you turned on "projector" mode in Windows using the Windows key + P?

When both The TV and the Monitor are on all of those not settings work but when I click only show on the TV and unplug the monitor everything's is fine . Until I restart then computer.

It shows the ASROCK logo but then windows never loads.

I have to then plug in the monitor again and restart.


This isn't real you annoying as it mean s when's i wanna use the PC I have to boot with a 2nd monitor then unplug iy every time !
