Do I need to install .rar unpacking software, or is it was part of Win 10?

Do I need to install .rar unpacking software, or is it part of Win 10? I thought I saw it offering "Unpack Here" when I right click on the .rar file, but now it does not offer this. I thought it was now native function of Win 10 and we don't need to install anything? Do we still need to install 3rd party? Which one is better? http://www.7-zip.org or http://www.win-rar.com

It is part of win 10 & should be in the context menu.
I still use third party software myself though.
They're all about the same , I use extractnow more than 7-zip or winrar.
Doesn't hurt to have more than 1 installed in all honesty.

7-Zip and it's like have more options in their context menus than Windows built-in unpackers, always very handy for me.
I also prefer the way they create encrypted archives compared to built-in unpacker, the dialogue box of 7-Zip is much more comprehensive.

What is Context Menu? When I right click on the file, I dont have any options such as "Extract File" or "Extract Here". This is new build and I install many sound libraries, and I thought I had this ability but I might of had only .zip files and now need to install library with .rar. How do I get to Windows native tool to open .rar? Thank you.

I cant remember windows having built in support for rar files. It does support zip files tho

Just install 7zip.Unless you want to pay for winrar. Since it's not free
