Which is the better monitor ASUS PG248Q or the Dell S2417DG

Solution
if u r happy with that asus. stick with it. thats a good 144hz FHD one. if u intend to buy a new one, thats when buying the overpriced asus is a bad choice over the 2k dell.

I have a GTX1070. Why should I choose the ASUS over the dell?

Also whats a good price for the ASUS?

450 bucks for a FHD g sync screen is too much. if its 250-300 then its a good buy. even then its pricey coz acer's 144hz monitors without g sync r about 190 bucks. so after paying royalty to nvidia, a FHD g sync screen should be 250-300 for bang for buck.
if u dont mind cranking down the MSAA settings in ur game a bit, the dell is really worth the shot.
after seeing that dell offer, go for it. even if the fps dont match up to its 165hz, g sync should clear that up.

So I currently have this Monitor. The ASUS VG248 should stick with what I have? I more likely be able to get the other ASUS or Dell at the same price.

So I ended up picking up the S2716DG, The 24' was out of stock in store, so I had to order it. First thing I noticed when compared to the ASUS is the colors don't look as vivid as the ASUS. But then I've haven't calibrated it yet. Anyhow thoughts?

Right now the only difference between these two is the size and the refresh as the 24" is 165hz and has a few extra presets in the screens menu/setting. I went ahead and order the 24" to lock in the sale price as it is now back up 499.99. The 27" is still sitting on sale at $499.99 from $699.99

So at this point both are the same price. Yesterday the 27" was $699. I might have gotten it lower because someone misspriced. I might be able to get an additional 20% off as well.
