no clue what i'm doing these days with computer stuff and would love the help on picking parts. i'm not worried about the cost but i need specific mentions of the right parts to get? i don't want to regret something. thanks for any help!

HAVE windows 10, mouse and keyboard.

-------------------------------
NEED
-27" gsync monitor for gaming
-micro atx case so i can move it around easy, a handle would be a plus but obviously i need it to cool well at the end of the day.
-micro atx motherboard
-cpu and cooler
-only want to use one single graphics nvidia card
-power supply
-memory i assume 16gb?
-ssd for main drive and games, i have others for storage. this new m2 format on motherboards sounds like its nice and clean room wise?

There aren't many mATX case options with handles. I just chose the green one because it stands out. There are different colors of the prodigy M with and without a window. This will make for a compact powerhouse. M.2 is preferable. As space is limited this keeps the case as open as possible. The GPU is a blower style to get hot air out as quickly as possible. The same reason for the liquid cooling. With a small case you don't have the luxury to circulate hot air.

For this configuration I would have two Corsair ML120 Pro fans at the top Intaking air. The 240mm Heatsink at the bottom intaking air. The third ML120 exhausting air out the rear. There may be a more efficient pattern for the fans. That is the best I can come up with. Perhaps top intake while the bottom and rear exhaust. You just have to take into account the PSU and GPU will always exhaust.

If you go with the windowed case option. Corsair has a few LED color options for their fans. You could even use them to replace the H100i default fans. Another option is the use the 240mm Thermaltake Riing and 120mm RGB Thermaltake Riing fans. If you want full RGB LED control.

Well if you go mini-ITX you can have much smaller cases. I do not recommend the Bitfenix prodigy cases, they are a pain to work in compared to mini-TTX cases like the 380T and for as sharp as their handles on the prodigy are they might as well not have bothered. If you need something super compact go mini-ITX and forget the handle since the things are so tiny and light if you pick the right case/parts you don't need handles. If you want something with a lot of upgrade room then forget micro/mini and go ATX with handles Cooler Master HAF XB II EVO https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119265&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Cases+%28Computer+Cases+-+ATX+Form%29-_-N82E16811119265&gclid=CjwKEAjw2qzHBRChloWxgoXDpyASJAB01Io0WwtYTp1Ajeo70MNkuMtipt3FohaIvj8Lm7RdMguuuhoCC67w_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

On the mini-ITX side there are muuuch better cases than prodigy, such as the Corsair 250D; Silverstone RVZ01B, Corsair 380T (with handle if you can find it), Lian Li PCQ-10. I had the misfortune of having to build twice using Bitfenix prodigys; never again.
