Is it better the monitor in a corner of the table or in front your body on the table?

Thank you guys

Ultimately its how comfortable you feel. If you occasionally experience eyestrain, fatigue, watering, etc, or are just concerned about protecting your eyes, there are programs you can download free such as f.lux, there are also plenty of eyeglasses designed to filter out blue light. The thing about non Rx glasses is they rarely conform to your natural vision, some magnify slightly, & vice versa. Modern LCD monitors should be positioned directly in front of you so you are viewing the screen dead ahead, not at angle on the right or left. Viewing LCD monitors at an angle can distort how you see the colours & the brightness level of the image (both those effects are especially to be avoided for photo-editing/printing of which I do a lot).

As for the correct distance, well that really depends on your own particular eyesight, but I imaging for a 24" screen it needs to be approximately 28" from your face. My screen is 19" and I have it 26" away which is just right for me as I'm near-sighted anyway, I wouldn't want it any closer.

I don't think there is a "recommended" distance, at least not in any documentation I've seen, it's a personal preference thing, whatever distance you are comfortable with.

Some might say arms length or up to a 4 feet. My advice would be as far away as possible while still remaining comfortable for your preference. It's the amount of time exposed that figures into the answer the most, regardless of distance, imho.

Fwiw: I've spent considerable time researching the same question and possible resulting health risks, & still haven't a factual answer, as there are variables to consider & some disagreement among professionals also. While evidence spending too much time in front of a monitor may cause sleep problems & other unpleasant conditions does exist, most likely it's not an issue those for those who use common sense & moderation.

Alright, i have it on the corner of my table at a distance of 28'' but if i finally decide to put in front of my face the distance would be only 24''

I'm playing daily like 5-6 hours with my rig, what do you recommend knowing that info guys?
