Laptop won't connect to TV via HDMI cable after reset?

My laptop was dropped, and the screen cracked, so I've been using it with a TV and it's been working fine. I just set it up to reset everything on the laptop, and now it wont connect to my TV. Does anyone know a fix for this? Other then update stuff, because I can't do that until it connects to a TV.. It's a slim laptop, and doesn't have a cable for a monitor, only some USB cables, and an HDMI cable.
