Picture looks scrambled on startup after windows 10 creator's update

Hi,

I installed the Windows 10 creator's update and I noticed that the picture looks scrambled on startup. It looks like a broken display with lines going down the display.
However when I press the reset button on my rig, the computer boots just fine.

Anybody else have this problem? I'm thinking the best solution here is to clean install windows, just wanted to check if there was a solution before that.

I would update drivers on PC and see if that helps

You can turn off fast startup since it works fine after a restart... shouldn't need to, hence my suggestion about drivers - https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4189-turn-off-fast-startup-windows-10-a.html

Hello. Yes!!!! I'm not alone!!!!! I get that too. Fresh install didn't help. Only turning off fast startup.

I was going to return my 1080ti thinking it was that.

But then i realised that it happens when pc takes a little longer to shut down and that has to do with fast startup.

Thank you for your help. You guys both saved me from doing a clean install with a really slow internet connection! I disabled fast boot and it is funny how my computer turns off and on faster now.... Haha.
