Clean install of Windows 10 on new SSD

I'm experiencing a drive failure that I can't recover from: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3390846/seagate-hdd-failure-recovery-issues.html

I thought this would be a good time to ten also install the new, larger SSD I have lying around so I can move my user directories back to the SSD.

That does mean that there will be no drives in the system with any remnants of the previous Win 10 install - which was an upgrade from Windows 7. I've run Belarc Advisor and I have the license codes it reports, but I'm still a little bit leery of pulling the trigger. Maybe some confirmation that my plan will work.

Although, coming to think of it now, if it fails, I can just switch the drives back and the old system should still be there - no harm no foul, right?
