Will this HDMI to VGA converter work for my PC?

So, I bought a new graphics card as I'm upgrading but my monitor has no DISPLAYPORT 1.4, HDMI and DVI.
So I'm thinking of buying this adaptor.

Graphics card is the zotac Nvidia 1050 ti OC.

according to the pictures its a hdmi to vga adapter so if your display supports vga then yes. i dont know if adapterts work both ways. i THINK they do but don't quote me on that

I don't believe it will work. The 10xx series (Pascal) no longer carry any Analog signal, and you therefore need an adapter that says "Active" in its description.. "Active" meaning that it is powered.

No they do not work worth both ways, it is either "A to B" only or "B to A" only.

THe link does notw ork on my work network so cant tell you which one it is.
Going with something not name brand (startech, anker, aukey, etc) is always risky, evne riskier getting from ebay where returning it will cost more then it is worth (and many vendors are banking on that).
