24" 1440p or 27" 1440p Monitor?

Hello all,

I am interested in upgrading monitors from a 1080p 23.6" monitor ASUS VE247H.

I have a i5 4670k and GTX 1070 GPU. I would like to upgrade to 1440p, but can't decide between 24" and 27".

I sit about 2 feet away from my computer desk and this is primarily used for Gaming and watching movies/shows.

I game CSGO, GTA V, DOTA 2.

My budget is ~500. Any suggestions on a monitor or the 24" vs 27"?

For 2 feet distance 27" will be more pleasant. This is a good unit within your budget.

up to 24 inch 1080p

over 24 inch 1440p

Second Hellfire; absolutely 27 inches; the resolution is definitely good enough for that and 24 inches is a waste. I have 4 27 inch 1440p monitors, 1 27 inch 1080p monitor, and 2 24 inch 1080p monitors; even the 1080p 27 inch one looks great, but there is a slight improvement going to 1440p. I sit about the same distance away; frankly sometimes even 27 inches feels a bit too small.
