Two Video Cards for BOINC (Folding@Home) up 270 USD total budget?

Hello, Please suggest the most power efficient to performance ratio, video cards, one each from AMD and Nvidia.
My Total budget is 270 USD.
Plan is to use two video cards for BOINC projects, one each from AMD and Nvidia.
I'm not a gamer. This is a contribution to science and disease fighting projects by donating compute time.

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6 GB or AMD Radeon RX 580. The GTX 1060 is clearly the most power efficient of the two.

Since you'll be folding, I recommend you check out the Tom's Hardware folding thread. Their focus is folding @ home for Team 40051, but I'm sure they wouldn't mind helping you with selecting a card for your BOINC build. They're a great group of people.
