Hey guys,

I need a good monitor for gaming. It needs to be at least 25" (preferably 27") and 1440P. My budget is 350$ (but cheaper is better) with 1ms response time and 75hz at least.
My build:MSI Titanium Z270
I7-6700k
16gb ram
Samsung EVO SSD 1tb

any suggestions would be great.

In addition to the major name brands posted above, look at some reviews for korean gaming monitors. They are typically ~27" and 1440p. Many of them are well known as monster overclockers that can reach 144hz despite advertising lower refresh rates. (THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN OVER CLOCK ANY 60hz MONITOR TO 120-144hz!!)

The 27" viewsonic posted earlier is only 1080p and at 27" that becomes noticeable. Sadly, for nvidia gpus, you aren't going to get adaptive sync without shelling out a $300-400 premium. AMD GPUs use freesync, a non-proprietary technology, to deal with screen tearing and because they dont force manufacturers to buy/license it at a premium, they are significantly cheaper.

With Vega coming out next month, I would highly...
At that price range, you'll have more choices at 1080p and IMO it's better experienced at 24" - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236313&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Otherwise, at 27":

It could save you anywhere from $100-$400 or more

Monitors are some of the longest living parts of a PC build and you should take your time with it to make sure you're spending your money the best way you can for your PC. I'm saying this as someone who recently purchased a 4k 28" display at 60hz for $400 and starting to regret it.

As for the other manufacturers, you will most likely need to up your budget by $50-150 to get into the more stylized and modern monitors if that's what you are looking for.
