VGA Monitor 15 pin to DVI-D 1050 ti Graphics Card 24+1 pin

I just recently upgraded to a 1050 ti and i didn't expect that my VGA monitor wont be able to use my Graphics Card.. yesterday i brought a DVI-D to VGA adapter and it didnt really work its just still black screen nothing happens.. which i thought i have been scammed or whatever.. does the adapter work at all or did i just been scammed because i brought one like this.

No you weren't scammed you just bought the wrong adapter. As said above you need an active adapter that converts analog to digital. Pascel does not nativly support analog signals. Found one on the site you were using.
