GPU or CPU upgrade?

Hi, I have a i7-4770 based system and GTX970 and usually plays Warcraft and Overwatch. If I want to upgrade, should I upgrade the cpu/mobo/ram or the gpu only?

Should I go with the new Karby lake cpu or just upgrade the gpu to gtx 1070 ?

Setup will be either: Karby lake with GTX970 or i7-4770 with GTX1070 ? which is better?

I'm assuming you want to game at 1080p with the highest frame rates possible. If that's the case I think for the games you're currently playing your CPU should handle things just fine. I'd go for the GTX 1070 as your first upgrade and then worry about the rest later.

Thanks, will go for the gpu most probably.. I checked my budget and the price of the ryzen 1500x+mobo+ram is the same as the new gtx 1070.

That CPU will be relevant and quite powerful for years to come. My 970, on the other hand, does struggle with some new-ish games @ full quality 1080p settings. A 1070 would be a good upgrade.
