Question about multiple monitors to a single PC

Can I connect one to the HDMI port and the other to the DVI port of my GPU , do you think that will work ?

Both to gpu, yes, if you are saying the hdmi on your motherboard, I don't think so.

If you have an iGPU, there will be somewhere in BIOS for you to enable iGPU multi-monitor support. At this point, you can plug one into the motherboard and one into the GPU. (for clarification on the above post, I believe OP is referencing both to the GPU, which will absolutely work)
