Can't update Windows 10 to creator update

Hi,
A pretty large update was offered for Windows 10 that changed windows defender, added game mode ect. It was offered on 2 laptops and they upgraded fine. However on the desktop the update always fails and says:

*Something went wrong
You can contact Microsoft support for help with this error. Here is the error code 0xc1900107.*

I've looked up the error code and just found that its an error when updates fail, which doesn't really help with a lot.

Any idea why this update might fail on a desktop and not on laptops?
Already tried using windows updater and windows updater troubleshooter.

No issues were found when this was carried out.

Already tried that and the update still failed.

Then you might have to do a clean install.

Hi, open your C:\ folder and click on View and make sure Hidden items is checked. Rename the $WINDOWS.~BT folder to any other name that you choose. Attempt the update again.
