screen resolution locked in 1600x1200 on a 1920x1080 monitor

Well i'll start by some specs:
GPU: AMD Radeon R7 200 Series
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8300 @ 2.50GHz
Display 1: LM725
Display 2: Samsung Generic Non-PnP Monitor (Its this monitor i've got the problem at)
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate

Alrighty, my problem is that my monitor is 1920x1080 but the resolution is locked on 1600x1080 i've tried opening Radeon additional settings but it only gave me option about the 1st monitor witch i don't want.. I even formated from windows 7 ultimate to 8.1 and then back again on windows 7 for some time i got used to 1600x1200 but i would prefer to restore my screen to its normal resolution.

Oh sorry i just saw its isn't a samsung monitor its an LG and you mean the cable that connects with the monitor?

First of all forgive me for responding so late, for the main monitor (LG) i use and adapter that turns the graphics card port into vga and connect it with my monitor, so yes im using vga

That may be a limitation of the VGA interface on that monitor. Switching to a digital interface (HDMI, DVI, displayport) should allow your 1080p resolution.

Well the thing is that like about 2 years ago or so, i actually managed allowing my monitor going at 1920x1080 but ever since amd upgraded their software i couldn't do it anymore its weird :/
