So about two weeks ago my PC started randomly stuttering as frequently as up to every few seconds. The sound stutters, the video freezes very briefly. With general browsing it's not that noticeable but when playing music/gaming, it has a big negative impact. It happens both online and offline.
So far I have run Windows Defender scan, Malwarebytes, Adwcleaner, and CCleaner.
I have reinstalled my graphics card driver.
I have disabled many programs on startup.
I've fiddled around with some settings within applications and disabled every possible thing I can think of that might be running in the background.
I've checked my component temperatures, all of which seem normal.
I have checked my processes to make sure nothing is taking all my resources.
None of this has made any progress.
My PC specs:
OS: Windows 10
CPU: Intel i7 4770K
RAM: 16GB DDR3
Motherboard: Asus H81M-C
Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 270X
Storage: Samsung SSD 840 Series, and Seagate ST2000DX001
Monitor: BenQ GL2450H
Any advice as to where to go next would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
