morning :)

Tiworker.exe sometimes eats 30-40 % of my CPU usage. i am using an i7 7700 \ 16GB
with Win 10 X64 Home Creators Update OS, and everything is updated and runs as it should.

i scanned for Malware \ Viruses - everything is clean.
also checked maintenance and windows update from the integrated troubleshooter in the OS.

it happens occasionally ( not happening all the time ) while doing nothing.. and i can't seem to find the reason. the OS itself is updated, i am not using any demanding apps, i have nothing special installed. the PC is mainly for gaming and im keeping it clean and lite on services.

could use some advice since i can't seem to find the source of that CPU usage.

thanks ~

Solution
its used for installing updates so it randomly runs when there is a windows update - see if any of this helps: http://tunecomp.net/tiworker-exe-cpu-usage-reaches-50-or-100-in-windows-10-fix-tiworker-issue/
