Pc freezes to colored screen

I'm having a problem, when I start up munch computer it takes around 5 minutes and when I get to my desktop it ether instanly goes to a black, grey, pink or green screen and completely freezes up and I have to hard reset it. When it doesn't do that it is extremely slow and takes for ever to load anything and when I try to start up an app or a game the screen pops up again I'm thinking it has something to do with graphics card but when I go into safe mode it works fine so I really don't know. i do schoolwork on this computer so i need to fix this quick.

Hello... 1) I would guess first your GPU fan is damaged and the GPU is over heating.

Sorry I forgot about this post, before it happend I downloaded something that was sorta suspicious and like a hour after that I started getting pop ups and I've never got them before I went to bed and woke up to the colored screen problem
