Displayport Question for my monitor specs?

i have a 1080 144hz freesync monitor. i have a few Question on which displayport Version i need that supports those high refresh rate and freesync for amd coming later for another build.

i was checking this one out

does this meet the specs? or do i need another.

Generally, all DP cables support 1080p 144hz. So you will be fine.

Sorry, I somehow misses that part of the question.

The cable versions are... lets say debatable. The most important thing is that your controllers in the card and monitor support DP 1.2a. The cable should still work even if it's a 1.1, as long as you stay under 6ft lenght.

If you want to take the safe route go for a 1.2a cable to ensure that adaptive Freesync works.
