HDR gaming monitors in 2017

Hello guys,recently dell announced a 24inch 1080p monitor which boasts of HDR the model no is "s2418h" ..my question is will older games run on this monitor with hdr mode on ,if so how many fps drop am I seeing.And where can i get patches for those games to run on hdr

Games have to be updated by the developers to allow HDR support. Most older games will probably not do this as there is no incentive to do so.
