Hey guys, just want to start off by saying that I am from Sweden and the prices of parts are a bit more expensive than what they are in other countries. I'd like to stay within the pricerange of the parts if not any lower. Mainly I want to know if these parts go well with eachother and to ask if there are any better options for the same price range for any of the components?

Also something I was wondering about but wasn't sure of, should I get seperate fans to install on the case or is it fine to not have them?

I would highly suggest stepping upto the 1600 over the 1500x. It get you 2 extra cores and fully overclockable to match the 1500X speed. Unless you plan a second rx 480 that PSU is overkill. The rx480 only requires a 500w if you need to cut costs for the ryzen 1600. I would also suggest a 580 4GB bacause the 8GB version is overkill for 1080p.

When I looked at the specs for the 1500x versus the 1600, it says that 1500x has 3.5 GHz and the 1600 has 3,2 GHz. What does the two extra cores do? And don't I wear out the computer faster by overclocking?
How powerful should the powersupply be? If 500w goes to the graphics card then only 150 would be left to the other parts right?
And regarding the graphics card I am a bit conflicted now because when I asked about this build in a different forum, they suggested that sticking with the 8GB 480 is better. https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/68uqz3/last_check_for_advice_before_i_purchase_my_parts/dh1hbnw/?utm_content=permalink&utm_medium=front&utm_source=reddit&utm_name=buildapc

The two extra cores will give you a lot more processing power down the line, and you can easily match the speed of the 1500x without wearing out your hardware at all. A solid 500 watts power supply is plenty when you are only using one graphics card.

You are looking at 5-15 FPS pending on the game for the difference between the 580 and 480. However the graphic load that you can get on it with the 8gig vs the 4gig is huge.

Also the difference between the 1500x and the 1600 at base is a little difference but you can easily set the clocks for the 1600 to the same speed as the 1500x and have better performance for it. I went with the 1700 vs the 1700x and it is running at the same speed with the stock voltages on the cpu.

Okay you guys have convinced me to go with 1600 then. So you recommend the 480 8GB over 580 4GB?

It would depend on price. I would take the 580 4GB because its faster. The 8GB would be important on 1440p but not so much so on 1080p. If you can get it for $20 more than sure but $40 more is a bit to much. Get a 580 either way tho as they run faster unless you save a lot. The 480 is nearly as slow as the 570 with only 4GB's.
