Today i built my very first pc, and after spending hours putting the thing together, the monitor says "No Signal Found." Everything has turned on, all fans are working, and mobo makes a beeping sound when it turns on. I tried using an hdmi cord to connect my monitor to my graphics card but if i do that my monitor says "No cable connected", and if i try to use the included vga cable to connect the monitor and mobo it says "No signal found." My graphics card only has hdmi and dvi.

Specs:
mobo: MSI - Z170-A PRO ATX LGA1151
Motherboard
CPU: I3-6100
RAM: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 8GB
Graphics Card: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1050
Ti 4GB
Monitor: BenQ - GL2460HM 24.0"
1920x1080 60Hz Monitor

Any suggestions would be much appreciated as I am getting frustrated trying to get the display to work.
Thanks in advance!

Solution
check the bios settings of the motherboard to see what video port setting is enabled as in the onboard video or the videocard.

Alright so i removed my 1050 ti (graphics card) and only ran the vga to my mobo graphics. It worked.
Does that mean that i have faulty graphics card? if so should I RMA it? and buy and install a different one or will that one not work either?
