New gaming monitor but which one ?

Morning All,

I am in the market for a new monitor, my current one is the ASUS vg248qe which is the 24" 144hz which has done me well but I want to upgrade to a bigger size with a high resolution maybe 2560-1440p.

Any one have any recommendations? as I have been looking at the ZOWIE XL2730 (My price range)

System specs

6700K
1080 STRIX
16GB ddr.

I just have no clue when it comes down to monitors colours and etc, i have an understanding of the basics.

Acer predator - I have the XB271HU27" IPS G-sync model and a gaming buddy got the 27" TN Gsync model. Awesome monitor - not cheap though.

Thanks for the responses so far, would you say GSYNC is a must have if i have nvidia? never really looked into them

for high fps situations? absolutely
and the gameplay is much more smoother with less flicker.

I would definitely go with the Asus PG258Q. It has a bunch of options, including a curved option, and a 4k version, to name a few. But the cheapest you're going to get on this one is $600.00, which is a bit over your budget, but only by about 40 dollars. But, again, that's the bare minimum, a 24 inch- but it still is 160hz.
