What is your budget? There are things to be improved here.
1: Better PSU. The one you put isn't bad but you don't need 650W. Get a Seasonic 520W and save some money.
2: No need for an overclocking centered motherboard when you can't OC with that CPU.

Yes. When I said get a better PSU I didn't mean better quality, moreover something that would better fit the needs, in this case lowering costs by not getting a PSU with too much unnecessary power.

because we don't know the budget it would have been better to take something of the same quality with less power. if you're going to suggest that.

personally i like seasonic but at the moment the best way to go when taking your money saving route would have been corsair CX550M semi modular. still giving the cable management feature and lowering the cost (if it is still on offer)

in general though it's not really advisable to suggest changing the original tier 1 choice, although a g2 or g3 model would be better imo , i do see what you're trying to do.but the power supply is the one place no one should try to save money if they don't need to.

Edited (Note still with a higher end PSU, since no one has decided whether he should or shouldn't drop to a cheaper, if he does i agree Corsair CXM 550). Still awaiting a word from OP, but i would go with this build over the i5.

- Faster RAM for the same price, Ryzen needs it.
- No need for a aftermarket cooler unless OP is doing some moderate+ Overclocking, the standard wraith is not bad for none or even light OCing.
- Gigabyte G1 RX 580 8GB is cheaper and cooler looks to be stronger.
- EVGA NEX is the older series, swapped it to a G3 for only a fraction more.
- $100 for a case seems a bit much for this build, comes down to the OP's preference though. I've added a great quality cheaper one for now.

Hey Guys!

Thanks for the great responses.
To answer some questions!
I am from the Netherlands, suppose I can't find all the parts for the prices you mentioned, for instance the powersupply mentioned by "adiec" will cost me atleast 20 euros more, excl shipping.

I went for that case, because it looks nice, and has a lot of extensibility, I plan on using this machine for the coming few years and being able to easily swap parts is great!
Also, I want to add a disc drive, so I need the external Sata slots.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I thought Ryzen Cpu's were intended to be used in workstations (Render farms etc) and not personal use/gaming pcs. Read that somewhere, but I could be entirely wrong, or the article could've been.

About all the changes, I am gonna take a look at them and decide :)
Thanks for all the help guys! Didn't really think it would get this many replies so soon :D

Best forum ever

And my budget is about 1k euros.
