Hi, today I installed a new update on my computer, played some games for about an hour and then my computer turned off. When i booted it up, it would reset every three seconds, i then took out the ram and put it in again and instead of three seconds it went up to a minute. I'm not great with computers but I have some basic knowledge - please dumb it down for me. Thanks in advance

Not sure why you're playing with your RAM, if you installed the update and you have this issue then it's clearly the update.

Try booting into Safe mode and uninstalling, otherwise you may have to reset the MBR: https://neosmart.net/wiki/fix-mbr/

As for the update you may want to check that your programs and drivers are compatible with the update, and if you do plan on installing again, make sure you back up your data first with a disk imager (i.e. Macrium Reflect) or a snapshot tool (i.e. Rollback Rx)
