Hello community, I am thinking of getting a new monitor around 350€. I thought it would be wise to ask your opinion before deciding myself.
My situation: I have BenQ GW2760HS. It has 27" 1080p, OC 70Hz. I am quite happy with it also I am quite comfortable with 1080p on 27" panel. I also have GPU RX 480 and CPU i5 3470, Win10.
Why I am not happy: One thing that annoys me is low frame rate (70fps) in fast action games and occasional screen tearing in less demanding games. I get dizzy while turning camera around fast (when motion blur is not available) and it breaks the immersion. Also colors could be better.
How I use my monitor: Gaming mostly. I play all kinds of games.
What I am looking for: Deeper immersion, 1080p 144Hz, Freesync, good response time, colors, contrast, brightness, design.
Nice options I found: Cheap Iiyama GB2788HS-B2 – 335€, better Samsung C27FG70 – 406€ (pricing found in my country (EU, Lithuania).
Question: Is Samsung worth the extra money or would you suggest something different and why?
