which processor is best?

my desktop config is:
asus m5a78l-m lx motherboard
2 gb nvidia graphics card
8 gb ram
amd dual core
so i know i have to change my processor.
which is the best and cheapest one?

For that motherboard? FX-8320 or FX-6100. If you wanna something else, you need new mobo.

Indeed but in that case the 8320 is by far the better choice, no doubt

The Fx 8320 is the better choice but the 760G chip set motherboard is going to hold the Fx 8320 back because the 760G motherboards was never built to handle the Fx 83xx cpu without a bios update so you will have cpu throttling because of the weak chip set so in your case I would go with the Fx 6100.
