Not able to copy/paste text

I can't seem to be able to copy text from anywhere to past it.
I can use the command in notepad itself but nowhere else.
I tried the echo off|clip command but no luck.

CTRL + C (copy) and CRTL + V (paste) do not work?

Do other CTRL key short cuts work? E.g. CTRL + P (Print)

See if you can narrow down the circumstances/details.

most key short cut works, only the problem of using copy (or cut) and paste, even using the mouse sub menu dont seem to work

Interesting:

Do you play any games or run other applications that use a customized keyboard?

May have happened with or without your knowledge and consent.

Are you able to boot into safe mode. See if the problem continues therein.

Otherwise try disabling apps in start up. Work with copy and paste. Then start opening apps one at a time while testing copy and paste.

With any luck the functionality will be there at start up and then be gone again with on particular app (or some combination of apps).

I don't use any program for keyboard customization
safe mode doesn't seem to change anything
I barely have any app in startup (almost fresh new install) and I don't think the one that there are corrupting the keyboard
here what my startup look like
- F.lux
- Steam
- windows defender
- java update scheduler
- catalyst control center

I really (full disclosure) do not know what to suggest....

Other than being very sure that you are pressing down and holding down the CTRL key while firmly pressing either C , V, or X as required.

Within what programs/applications is copy and paste failing?
