Remote Desktop prevents shortcuts involving CTRL + ALT

When I use Remote Desktop it won't pass any shortcuts involving CTRL + ALT (e.g., CTRL + ALT + LEFT I use for an Excel Add-on). Passes all others. Is this fixable?

Which Remove Desktop product you're using?

Remote Desktop built into Windows 10 pro. I'm open to other options. It works in TeamViewer I just think Remote Desktop has given me the best visual quality so far so would love to use if possible to fix this issue
