Welcome fellow PCians!
As a first time PC builder, i'm looking to step up from my ancient Toshiba craptop. My budget is aimed for around $1000 AUD.
I'm mainly looking to play games at relatively smooth frames such as Overwatch, CS:GO, PLAYERUNKNOWN's Battlegrounds, Rainbow Six Siege and Rust along with a bunch of other indie games (Hotline Miami, Don't Starve, The Binding of Isaac). Future-proofing will be awesome and greatly appreciated as well!
I also wish to be able to do some video editing and some Photoshop as well
I already have peripherals (mouse + keyboard + headphones) as well as a monitor. I will also need a copy of a Windows OS as well. I don't really mind if the CPU is AMD or Intel, though the new Ryzen 5 1600 looks pretty sweet for gaming and video editing,
I do prefer to have an SSD of any storage size though if it spanks the bank a little too hard then sticking to a hard drive also fine :]
Also remember that this is in AUD, so using the Australian PC Part Picker website (https://au.pcpartpicker.com/) will make it easier for me to see the prices from Aussie stores.
All responses are greatly appreciated!
Thanks for stopping by!
